Background of Organization:
The Community Development Centre (CDC), established in B.S. 2049 by a group of dedicated development professionals and activists, is a well-recognized non-governmental organization with more than three decades of experience in community empowerment. With strong technical expertise, robust financial systems, and deep understanding of the local context, CDC has successfully led inclusive and multi-sectoral programs in Sudurpaschim and Karnali Province. Its work spans across inclusive education, health, WASH, disaster risk reduction, youth engagement, child protection, and women’s empowerment. By addressing pressing challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, harmful social practices, governance gaps, low educational performance, and persistent barriers for marginalized groups, the organization has played a pivotal role in driving sustainable improvements in the lives of vulnerable communities.
CDC (Community Development Center) is implementing Inclusive Future: Enhancing Education for All (NPK0011) program in Simikot, Kharpunath and Chankhali Rural municipality of Humla district. Hence, CDC is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on Admin and Finance Officer (AFO) position for smooth implementation of the project activity.
Following Position:
Admin and Finance Officer- 1 Position
Requirement education/skill:
Bachelor's Degree of Commerce, Business Studies or Equivalent
Master's Degree in Finance/Accounting or Equivalent, preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in independently handling budgeting, financial accounting, planning and analysis in I/NGO
Demonstrated experience in the use of MS office Package (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.) & Internet
Experience of working in a computerized accounting environment like FAMAS.
Ability to lead financial management of the project/program and make the linkage of this with overall financial management of the organization
