KHDC Nepal Vacancy for Public Health Coordinator

KHDC Project Phase II at KHDC Nepal is being conducted in collaboration with Geneva University Hospitals (HUG).
Applications from dynamic, competent, hardworking, and qualified candidates are invited for the following position.

Position : Public Health Coordinator
Required number : One
Duration : 12 Months
Salary : Attractive Salary
Location : Office based with occasional travel to field sites

Qualifications and experiences:

• Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) or equivalent preferably with prior work experience.

Job requirement:

• Planning and Implementation of community-based NCD prevention and control activities (screening camps, awareness campaigns, lifestyle intervention programs).
• Coordinate with FCHVs, health facilities, local government, and other collaborative partners for effective implementation.
• Conduct regular community needs assessments and surveys.
• Monitor program indicators, data collection, and reporting.
• Develop IEC (Information, Education, Communication) materials on NCD risk factors (tobacco, alcohol, unhealthy diet, physical inactivity).
• Facilitate integration of NCD services into existing primary level health system.
• Manage internal documentation on project activities.
• Advocate for NCD policies at the local level.
• Full-term service commitment.
