Samari Utthan Sewa (SUS) is a leading organization committed to social justice, human rights, and empowerment of marginalized communities in Nepal. For this, it invites applications from qualified, motivated, and committed Nepali citizens for the following positions. 

1.Private Sector Engagement Coordinator (1 Position): Bharatpur, Chitwan-based

Role Summary: Develop and strengthen partnerships with private and cooperative sector actors to promote labour rights, social protection access, and ethical business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage partnerships with federations of private enterprises, industry associations, and cooperatives.

• Coordinate outreach and training sessions for private sector stakeholders.

• Facilitate enrolment of workers into social protection schemes.

• Organize public-private dialogue platforms and advocacy events.

• Monitor compliance with labour laws and support grievance mechanisms.

• Report regularly to the Project Manager and Executive Director.

Qualifications:

• Minimum master's degree in business administration, Social Sciences, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in private sector engagement, partnership building, or CSR preferred.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.

• Strong report writing and data analysis skills with sound knowledge of new technologies. 

• Ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders and manage multi-sectoral coordination.

2.Senior Project Coordinator (1 Position): Kathmandu-Based, 30% Field Visits

Role Summary: Manage overall implementation of the projects, ensuring quality, and timely achievement of objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities.

• Facilitate communication among stakeholders, including government, partners, and communities.

• Ensure documentation, reporting, and compliance with donor requirements.

• Support capacity building and technical assistance.

• Conduct frequent field visits for supervision and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum master's degree in environmental science, Development Studies, or related field.

• Minimum 4 years of project management experience in climate or development projects; gender justice or minority rights. 

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Good command of Nepali and English.

3.Project Coordinator (1 Position): Chitwan, Bharatpur based with 40% field visits. 

Role Summary: Lead and coordinate the implementation of the project activities in Chitwan and Makawanpur. Ensure timely delivery of project outputs, quality assurance, and effective stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and supervise project activities according to the approved plan.

• Coordinate with local governments, community-based organizations (CBOs), and other stakeholders.

• Monitor field implementation and report progress regularly to the Programme Manager.

• Facilitate knowledge management and documentation of project learnings.

• Ensure compliance with donor and organizational policies.

• Support capacity building of field staff and community volunteers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum master's degree in Rural Development, Social Work, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of project coordination experience, preferably in anti-trafficking or social protection projects.

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

• Fluency in Nepali and English.

4. Social Mobilizer (3 Positions): Hanumanjhula, Chitwan; Bharatpur, Chitwan and Hetauda, Makawanpur

Role Summary: Mobilize communities and vulnerable groups to participate in anti-trafficking and social protection-related activities. Act as the project’s frontline presence in designated areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct community awareness raising, outreach, and engagement activities.

• Support identification and referral of trafficking and exploitation cases.

• Facilitate community meetings, training, and capacity-building sessions.

• Collaborate with local CBOs, government agencies, and service providers.

• Maintain regular communication with the Project Coordinator and report field updates.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+2 education or equivalent.

• Experience in community mobilization or social work is preferred.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Knowledge of local context and trafficking-related issues.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

5.Junior Finance Officer (1 Position): Kathmandu-Based, 50% Field Visits

Role Summary: Manage financial transactions, accounting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with SUS and donor financial policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

• Process payments, reimbursements, and vendor transactions.

• Prepare periodic financial reports for project management and donors.

• Ensure adherence to budgeting and financial controls.

• Support financial audits and liaise with auditors.

• Conduct frequent field visits to support financial monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant financial management experience.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Money Works and Tally).

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to travel frequently to project sites.

6. Social Mobilizer (1 Position): Bhaktapur-based

Role Summary: Engage urban communities in climate resilience activities, facilitating awareness, participation, and local action.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobilize and sensitize urban populations on climate change impacts and resilience strategies.

• Organize community meetings, workshops, and field activities.

• Work closely with local government and environmental stakeholders.

• Support data collection, monitoring, and reporting of project activities.

• Coordinate with the Project Coordinator and other staff.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+2.

• Experience in community engagement or environmental/climate projects preferred.

• Effective communication and facilitation skills.

• Familiarity with local urban context and climate issues.
