Background
National Campaign for Education Nepal (NCE Nepal) is a national network comprising 508 organizations, including I/NGOs, teacher associations, media networks, and community-based groups, all dedicated to promoting the right to education and lifelong learning for children and adults in Nepal. NCE Nepal primarily engages in advocacy, lobbying, campaigning and evidence-based research to inform education policies and programs. For over two decades, it has advocated for good governance and inclusive education through the collective efforts of civil society organizations (CSOs).
With support from the European Union (EU), NCE Nepal is working in partnership with Global Action Nepal (GAN) and the Nepal Disabled Women Association (NDWA) to implement the Civil Society Participation in Education (COPE) project. This initiative seeks to strengthen the public education system and enhance access to free, inclusive and equitable quality education especially in Madhesh and Karnali Provinces through active and meaningful civil society participation.
NCE Nepal is seeking qualified, motivated and dedicated candidates for the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
Position:
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer – 1 (Kathmandu, with frequent travel to project areas)
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will be responsible for data collection, data management, and data analysis, including maintaining the M&E tracking system and log frame. The M&E Officer will also prepare and implement regular results-based monitoring and evaluation plans, develop knowledge, communications, and advocacy materials. In addition, they will be responsible for preparing and updating project progress reports and conducting assessments as required in coordination with project staff members.
