Bagmati Welfare Society Nepal (BWSN) was established in 1995 A.D (2051 B.S.) and registered as non-profit making, nonpolitical and non-governmental organization in District Administration Office, Sarlahi. BWSN was formed with the objective of engaging marginalized and vulnerable people in development activities with their enhanced capacity which ensures the livelihood improvement opportunities for poor, deprived and destitute community people living in Sarlahi and surrounding districts of Terai region. The thematic area of BWSN is Disaster Risk Management, Climate change, Human Rights, Child Rights, Peace and Democracy, Livelihood and Enterprises Development, Education, Health, Nutrition and WASH. 

In partnership with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)/ Global Fund under National Tuberculosis Control Centre BWSN is implementing Strengthening Health Resilience in Nepal – HIV, TB and Malaria Tuberculosis (TB) control program in 13 districts (Jhapa, Ilam, Sunsari, Morang, Udaypur, Saptari, Siraha, Dhanusha, Mahotari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara and Parsa). BWSN invites application from interested and eligible candidates. All candidates are request to mention the expected salary in application.

Position: Paramedical Staffs for ACF Camps

Required No:- 1

Duty Station: Koshi Province

Jobs Summary: Over all responsible for implementing the ACF Camps TB project in close coordination with provincial health directorates, districts, and municipalities. Key responsibilities include planning and coordination, administrative and logistical support, sample collection and follow-up, hotspot mapping, and camp site selection according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and guidance from the National Tuberculosis Control Center (NTCC). Provide technical and financial support, facilitate TB presumptive identification using AI-X-ray machines, ensure sample testing (Gene X-pert/Microscopy), and enroll patients, recording, and reporting of ACF camp data in HMIS and NTPMIS, in accordance fulfilling compliance of BWSN/UNDP US / Global Fund.

Eligibility:

  • Should have minimum Certificate degree in radiography, or HA, or Staff Nurse with minimum of 1 year of experience in TB program or heath related program.

  • Candidates with a radiography background are preferred, and priority will be given to those with experience in the TB-ACF Camps.

Position: Support Staffs for ACF Camp

Required No- 1

Duty Station: Koshi Province

Jobs Summary: Over all responsible for implementing the ACF Camps TB project, coordinating with the camp team and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: administrative and financial support, logistics management, ACF camp site management, ensure sample collection and testing (Gene X-pert/Microscopy), patient enrollment and follow-up, and data recording and reporting in HMIS and NTPMIS, in accordance fulfilling compliance of BWSN/UNDP US / Global Fund.

Eligibility:

  • Should have minimum Certificate degree in +12 passed with 1 year of experience in TB program or health related program. 

  • Candidates with a health background are preferred, and priority will be given to those with experience in the TB program.

Position: Outreach Worker (ORW)

Duty Station: 

Koshi Province:
Morang district (Kerabari RM, and Letang Municipality) - 1

Madhesh Province:
Bara district (Kolvi and Nijgadh Municipality) - 1

Jobs Summary: Identify presumptive TB case from potential sites of existing health facility of government and private health care provider of assigned area. Reach and conduct contact tracing of the family & vulnerable community (index family and surrounding).  Support to have proper diagnosis and enroll for TB treatment and contribute on TB End strategy of the area. Utilize full of energy and innovation toward TB Free society. Support to ACF camps, follow up and ensure recording and reporting in HMIS, eTB and NTPMIS

Eligibility:

  • Should have minimum Certificate degree in health-HA, Staff Nurse and Lab assistant with minimum 1 year of experience in TB program or heath related program, or CMA/ANM passed with 1 year’s experiences in TB program or health related program, or +12 passed with 2 years experiences in TB program or health related program. 

  • Candidates with a health background are preferred, and priority will be given to those with experience in the TB program.

  • Local resident of intervention area, and person having own two-wheeler with valid driving license will be given high priority.
