NEWAH, a non-governmental organization (NGO), seeks applications from all interested and competent individuals for the job positions per the details below:
Job Position: WASH Engineer – One
Contract Type:
Full-time, as per NEWAH HR policy
Minimum Qualification/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.
Registered Engineer (preferred, where applicable).
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in WASH projects.
Experience working with NGOs/INGOs or development projects is an advantage.
Duty Station and Working Condition:
This position is based at NEWAH Headquarters, Kathmandu, and requires visits to project sites as needed.
Job Position: Finance Officer – One
Contract Type:
Full-time, as per NEWAH HR policy
Minimum Qualification/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with at least 2 years of experience in similar work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Package. Knowledge of handling FAMAS Accounting Applications.
Duty Station and Working Condition:
This position is based at NEWAH Headquarters Kathmandu and visits to project sites as per need.
Job Position: Social Facilitator – Few
Contract Type:
Full-time, as per NEWAH HR policy
Minimum Qualification/Experience:
At least a Certificate Level (Proficiency Certificate Level) or Grade 12 pass in Health or another relevant subject.
Minimum 2 years of experience in rural WASH, community mobilization, and Dignified Menstruation Management (DMM).
Duty Station:
The Water, hygiene, and sanitation projects assigned by the organization.
Individuals from minority groups, indigenous groups, and persons with disabilities are equally encouraged to apply.
