Advocacy Forum-Nepal (AF), a non-profit and non-governmental human rights organization, is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Staff based at the Central Office, in Kathmandu.

1. Assistant-Program - 1

LOCATION: Kathmandu, Head Office

CONTRACT DURATION: 6 Months

Major Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, organization, and facilitation of trainings, stakeholder meetings, workshops, and other project-related activities. 

  • Support the coordination and implementation of program activities in line with organizational priorities and approved work plans. 

  • Contribute to the preparation of reports for donors, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders. 

  • Coordinate with internal teams, partners, facilitators, and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of activities. 

  • Support participant outreach, engagement, and communication as required by the program. 

  • Assist in developing work plans, activity schedules, and implementation tools. 

  • Contribute to monitoring, documentation, and reporting of program activities, including progress updates and activity reports. 

  • Manage project-related documentation and facilitate communication between field offices and the central office. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Coordinator and Advocacy Forum-Nepal.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum +2 level completed or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. 

  • Age between 18-30 years. 

  • Actively engaged in or passionate about advocacy, youth activism, civic engagement, digital campaigns, content creation, or community engagement. 

  • Good understanding of national and international laws related to human rights, freedom of expression and assembly, safety and security issues. 

  • Demonstrated interest or involvement in issues related to accountability, transparency, human rights, or freedom of expression. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Nepali. 

  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, Excel, and other relevant tools).
