Summary:

Community Development & Advocacy Forum Nepal (CDAFN) Bardibas, Mahottari is a NGO dedicated to uphold the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Education ,Health, Education, Livelihood, Protection and Climate Change Adaptation Mitigation, Chure Conservation, Disaster Risk Reduction Management, Biodiversity Conservation and Humanitarian Support including Organizational Development and GEDSI. It works with a vision for Building a Civilized and Prosperous Society with Equality and Social Justice in Nepal since 2006. It works with a mission to improve the lives of people through economic, social, cultural and physical transformation. It has been implementing Sponsorship Project (CASP) and INSPIRE) partnership with Save the Children in Mahottari District in partnership with Save the Children.

Community Development & Advocacy Forum Nepal (CDAFN), Bardibas invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates (Nepali citizen only) who are reliable, accountable, and have the ability to deliver results with the highest level of integrity for the following position under its Sponsorship Project (CASP) and INSPIRE Projects partnership with Save the Children.

CDAFN invites applications from interested qualified and professional Nepali candidates for the following full-time position.

1) Advertisement No.: 01/2082/2083

Position: Field Coordinator-Education (CASP) 

Required No.: 1 (One) 

Duty Station: Project Office, Bardibas (50% field visit in project area)

Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge

Education and Experience: Master’s degree in education, Development Studies, Sociology, or a related field, with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in the education or development sector or Bachelor degree with 5 years' experience in the related field.

Skills:

  • Strong skills in log-framework plan development and outcome-based monitoring.

  • Facilitation and coordination amongst the different stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in computing skills.  

  • Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing abilities.  

  • Basic proficiency in written and spoken English.  

  • Enthusiasm for working with diverse, multidisciplinary teams and rural communities.  

JD Field Coordinator- Education

2) Advertisement No.: 02/2082/2083

Position: Field Officer-Education (CASP)

Required No.: 1 (One) 

Duty Station: Central Office, Bardibas (70% field visit in project area)

Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from a recognized institution, preferred Master’s degree in Education 

Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience or in education program implementation and Sponsorship Programs is preferred. Experience of working in multicultural environments.

Skills:

  • Facilitation and coordination amongst different stakeholders

  • Proficiency in computing skills.  

  • Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing abilities.  

  • Basic proficiency in written and spoken English.  

  • Enthusiasm for working with diverse, multidisciplinary teams and rural communities. 

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with relevant stakeholders.

JD Field Officer - Education

Position: Field Supervisor-Health (CASP)

Required No.: 1 (One) 

Duty Station: Bardibas/Gausala Municipality (80% field visit in project area)

Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge

Education: Intermediate/ Bachelor’s degree in health or a relevant field.

Experience: At least two years of experience in health and nutrition. 

Skills:

  • Competence in training facilitation, stakeholder coordination, and campaign implementation.  

  • Proficiency in data collection, reporting, and presentation tools.  

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.  

  • Language: Proficiency in local languages, Nepali, and English is preferred.  

  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently.  

  • Ownership of a two-wheeler with a valid driver’s license is advantageous.  

JD Field Supervisor-Health

Position: Infrastructure Officer (Engineer) (INSPIRE) 

Required No.: 1 (One) 

Duty Station: Field Office- Aurahi Municipality (70% field visit in project Municipalities)

Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge

Education and Experience: At least Diploma in civil engineering or other relevant field of study with 5 years of similar experiences, preferred Civil Engineer with 2 years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to the one who has experienced working in Education, and livelihood and child development sector.

Skills:

  • Strong skills in log-framework plan development and outcome-based monitoring.

  • Facilitation and coordination amongst the different stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in computing skills.  

  • Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing abilities.  

  • GIS mapping and application as required

  • Experience of working with Education, Climate change projects/personnel.

  • Ability to speak local language of the district/community.

  • Having computer skill AutoCAD, and other word, Excel, spread sheet and power point

JD Infrastructure Officer-Engineer
