Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal is a non-political and non-profitable organization established in May 2002 working across Madhesh Province. Since then, RDC is heavily engaged in humanitarian assistance, community development, conservation of natural resources, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the dozens of humanitarian and long-term development projects reaching out to the children, adolescent, youth, women, landless, urban poor, and people living with disabilities, HIV & AIDS, conflict and disaster survivors from the poor families of historically marginalized Dalits, Muslims, Madheshi and Indigenous communities and other underprivileged groups.
RDC Nepal is implementing Sabal Balika Sabal Samudaya (SaBaSS) in partnership with Plan International Nepal at Sarlahi District. Connecting to this program, we would like to invite application from the interested Nepalese candidates who are eligible, accountable and have the ability to deliver results with the highest level of integrity for the following positions:
Positions/Nos.: Livelihood Coordinator- 1
- Academic Qualification: Master’s degree in Economics/Development Studies/Rural Development/Social Science/Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)/Agriculture/Natural Resource Management.
- Key Skills and Experience: Sound understanding and skills on agriculture, livelihood, value chain management; master’s degree with 3 years relevant experience
Positions/Nos.: Admin and Finance Officer (AFO)- 1
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in finance/business management
- Key Skills and Experience: Minimum 3 years’ working experience in development sector, sound understanding of FAMAS, True Book and skills in project finance management, meeting organizational policy and donor compliance.3
Positions/Nos.: Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Officer-1
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in social science/ development studies/ statistics or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Key Skills and Experience: At least 3 years of experience working with I/NGO in the field of monitoring, evaluation, and accountability including depth knowledge of the GEDSI sector.
Positions/Nos.: Logistic and Procurement Officer-1
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business/management.
- Key Skills and Experience: Proven experience working with I/NGO with at least 2 years in procurement- supply chain position.
Positions/Nos.: Junior Technical Assistant (JTA)- Plant – 1
- Academic Qualification: Intermediate in Agriculture Science or JT/JTA from a government recognized technical institution.
- Key Skills and Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in climate smart agriculture, demonstration plots, and in related field.
Positions/Nos.: Junior Technical Assistant (JTA)- Animal – 1
- Academic Qualification: Intermediate in Animal Science or JT/JTA from a government recognized technical institution.
- Key Skills and Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in related field.7
Positions/Nos.: Enterprise Development Facilitator (EDF)- 1
- Academic Qualification: Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Key Skills and Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in enterprise development, youth employment, livelihoods, or market systems development.
