ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Child Protection Coordinator to support the implementation and continuous improvement of child protection systems across Adara’s programs in Nepal. Working closely with schools, communities, and local government stakeholders, you will help create safe, inclusive environments where children are protected from harm, empowered to participate, and able to thrive.
In this role, you will coordinate child protection activities across schools and communities, strengthen school-based safeguarding systems, deliver training and coaching for teachers and community members, facilitate child-centred safety and empowerment initiatives, and support local government and community-led child protection efforts. You will also play a key role in promoting a strong safeguarding culture and ensuring effective prevention, reporting, and response mechanisms are embedded in everyday practice.
ABOUT YOU
You are committed to child rights, safeguarding, and working respectfully alongside children, families, schools, and communities. You have experience working in child protection, safeguarding, education, social work, international development, or a related field, and enjoy building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
You are an engaging facilitator who can confidently deliver training, coaching, and awareness activities, while also supporting practical, sustainable improvements in child protection systems. You bring strong judgement, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to managing sensitive situations.
