Human Rights and Environment Development Centre (HuRENDEC) Nepal, Kalikot, is a non-governmental organization established in Kalikot that has been serving the Karnali region for more than three decades. The organization implements need-based, action-oriented, and multidisciplinary development initiatives through community engagement and social mobilization. Its major areas of work include human rights promotion, sustainable livelihoods, microenterprise development, climate change adaptation, cash-for-work programs, disaster risk management, health service, WASH, natural resource management, eco-friendly infrastructure development, advocacy and policy engagement, community empowerment, and infrastructure development.
Human Rights and Environment Development Center (HuRENDEC Nepal), in consortium with KIRDARC Nepal, is going to implement the “Promotion of Sustainable Health and Nutrition (POSHAN)” project in partnership with Plan International Nepal in three municipalities of Kalikot District: Naraharinath Rural Municipality, Sanni Triveni Rural Municipality, and Raskot Municipality.
The overall goal of the project is to improve the nutritional status and economic resilience of vulnerable households in the targeted communities through strengthened capacity and collaboration among civil society organizations (CSOs) and local governments.
To implement this project, HuRENDEC Nepal, Kalikot, invites applications from qualified, result- oriented, and highly motivated Nepali candidates for the following position, subject to the availability of project funds.
Position: Field Supervisor -3
Duty Station: Municipality Level (Raskot Municipality, Sanni Triveni RM, and Naraharinath RM)
Reports to: Project coordinator and EE officer
Position Summary
The Supervisor will support day-to-day field implementation, supervision, monitoring, and quality assurance of project activities at community level.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise field implementation of nutrition, WASH, livelihood, and advocacy activities.
- Support mobilization of FCHVs, Health Mother Groups, Father Clubs, youth clubs, and farmer groups.
- Monitor activity implementation and provide technical backstopping.
- Verify beneficiary selection and participation processes.
- Ensure quality delivery of training, awareness sessions, and community events.
- Support collection of monitoring data and field-level reporting.
- Conduct regular field visits and provide feedback to project staff
- Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and review sessions.
- Ensure safeguarding, inclusion, and accountability principles are followed.
- Support documentation of best practices, success stories, and lessons learned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Inter level/ +2 level (Bachelors preferred) in Agriculture, JT, JTA, Social work, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of field-level community mobilization experience (for ISc AG or JT (agr, vet) and 4 years for others.
- Preferred to EDF (Entrepreneurship Development Facilitator) course completed candidates
- Experience in community mobilization and supervision.
- Good understanding of nutrition, WASH, livelihood, and local governance.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in field level movement
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and community empowerment
