Position Overview

The Education Coordinator will be responsible for the strategic management and coordination of education programmes across multiple projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to ensure quality implementation of diverse education components in line with organizational objectives and donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of education initiatives, including Early Childhood Development, Remedial Classes, Extra-Curricular Activities, Pedagogical Support and improvement of learning environment, Strengthening School Leadership, Community Engagement in Schools, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)Provide technical guidance and capacity building to project teams, teachers, and school leaders.Ensure programme quality, compliance with standards, and alignment with national education policies.Foster collaboration with communities, local authorities, and stakeholders to promote inclusive education.Develop monitoring frameworks, track progress, and prepare high-quality reports for donors and management.Contribute to strategic planning, proposal development, and resource mobilization efforts.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related field.Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in education programme management, preferably within NGOs or donor-funded projects.Proven expertise in child-centered pedagogy, school leadership, and community-based education.Strong project management, analytical, and reporting skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.Experience in TVET and community mobilization will be considered an asset.
