Position: Communication Officer

Access Planet is led by women with disabilities working to promote the rights, inclusion, and empowerment of girls and women with disabilities, through advocacy, capacity building, and inclusive development initiatives.
Position Summary
Access Planet is seeking a motivated and dedicated Communication Officer to manage organizational communications, enhance visibility, and support advocacy and program activities through effective communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement communication plans aligned with organizational goals
Manage social media platforms, website content, and digital campaigns
Prepare press releases, news stories, success stories, and reports
Document program activities through story sharing, writing, photography, and coordination
Support program implementation, advocacy and awareness campaigns related to women rights and disability inclusion
Ensure the dissemination of inclusive and accessible communication materials
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Social Sciences, or related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in communication or related roles
Strong writing and editing skills in English and Nepali
Knowledge of graphic design, photography, video graphy
Understanding of disability inclusion and gender issues is highly preferred
