Vacancy Announcement:

Child Development Nepal (CDN), established in 2015 (2071 B.S.) and registered with the District Administration Office, Sarlahi, is a community-based non-governmental organization affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC). CDN has been actively working for a decade across Madhesh Province to uplift marginalized and deprived children, adolescents, youth, and women by promoting their rights, well-being, and access to essential services. The organization implements programs in education, health, nutrition, WASH, livelihood promotion, TVET, women empowerment, child rights, environmental sanitation, gender equality and social inclusion (GESI), as well as disaster response and preparedness. With strong coordination and collaboration with local governments, schools, health facilities, community groups, and development partners, CDN has built a strong grassroots presence and community trust in Sarlahi, Mahottari, and Rautahat districts.

CDN has recently launched a new project titled “Health, DRR and Education Project” in Sarlahi, Mahottari, and Rautahat to improve community health, strengthen disaster risk reduction (DRR) preparedness, and enhance the quality of education for vulnerable families. The project focuses on promoting preventive health practices, nutrition awareness, school safety, resilience building, and child-friendly learning environments through meaningful engagement with mothers’ groups, adolescents, youth, teachers, community leaders, and local authorities. This initiative aims to reduce vulnerabilities and support marginalized communities to access better health services, safer educational spaces, and improved disaster preparedness.
