Vacancy Announcements – Field Officer and Freelance Engineer

Kids of Kathmandu, a non-profit organization committed to enhancing educational infrastructure and access, is looking for a Field Officer and a Freelance Engineer to support its school construction project in Dhading and Makawanpur districts.

1. Position: Field Officer (School Construction Project)

Office location: Sanepa - Lalitpur

Project Location: Dhading & Makawanpur

Organization: Kids of Kathmandu

Project Duration: 1.5 years (with possibility of extension)

1. Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Basic construction knowledge preferred)
Valid motorcycle license and own bike – must be willing and able to travel to remote and off-road areas
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); (knowledge of SketchUp and AutoCAD is a plus)
Strong command of English communication (spoken and written)
Both experienced and fresh candidates are welcome to apply

2. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular field visits and supervise ongoing construction work
Coordinate with local stakeholders, contractors, and school representatives
Maintain project documentation, progress tracking, and reporting
Support the team in planning, monitoring, and evaluation

Salary & Benefits:

Basic Salary: Rs. 25,000/month plus Travel and field allowances (negotiable based on experience and skills)
