VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Animal Health Training and Consultancy Service (AHTCS), a service oriented, non-profit making national NGO officiated in Pokhara that works in the areas of animal health and management, equine welfare, influencing, community development, veterinary research, and training to poor, marginalized and needy farmers all over the country. The AHTCS invites application from the dynamic, qualified and highly motivated Nepali citizen for the following position:
POSITION TITLE: Program Officer
PROJECT: Community Goat Production Strengthening Project (CGPSP)
Responsible to: AHTCS Executive Director
Location: AHTCS head office (Pokhara) with frequent travel to project sites (Working station may change as needed)
JOB PURPOSE:
Take lead on CGPSP ensuring effective planning, implementation and reporting of the project interventions under the guidance of Executive Director (ED).
Qualification and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in veterinary science or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or Agriculture Science
Preferably 2 years’ experience in field of veterinary practice or farmers’ training
Must have valid Veterinary practice license from NVC (only for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)
Have two-wheeler driving license and driving experience would be essential.
